Havn't got a fine Saturday for the past 2 weeks but finally it becomes sunny today!! Although the temperature has risen to 34-35C, we still went out for a walk this morning. Started from Tung Chung, we took NLB bus no.11 for Tai O~~ then we rushed to Tai O market. In there, we enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful scenes of stilt houses as we were crossing the bridge.

Why this place is called Tokyo Pier?????? We were NOT in Japan!!

Wonderful oil paintings~~ Stilt houses with boats, mountains and sea.

Now @ Sun Kei Bridge.

Now we were @ the bottom of Elephant Hill (in Cantonese it is called Pak Shan or Cheung Shan). GREEN Power!!!!

Po Chu Tam (looks like a piece of emerald floating on the water!)

Now moving to the way for Lung Ngam Temple... and there is a footpath in the middle of the road...?!?!? Take a look first.....Ooops, it is the way for the old mortuary (also served as hospice in the past), and Tai O Cemetery is nearby.

A big fish pond and pieces of farmlands near the mortuary.

How come there is a Christmas tree on the road???? Ooooops, we have arrived Lung Ngam Temple!!

Nice scenes @ Lung Ngam Temple!!

A little temple (Wah Kwong Temple) in Wang Hang Village.

Wondering around @ Wang Hang Village.

Wang Hang Village~ a really nice place!

We went to Shek Tsai Po before leaving ~~~ yep, we came here for its famous rice cakes!!! This old shop with a big chimney is the one selling very delicious hand-made rice cakes!!! They still use firewood for steaming, that is why the rice cakes are so delicious!!
